Certificate with light blue background (with International Islamic University Islamabad logo), tan and white border housed in rectangular green velvet box with metal clasps and the logo of International Islamic University Islamabad on the top lid. The inside of the lid is embossed, in gold, with the following:
Degree conferred on Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela by International Islamic University Islamabad In the Third Convocation Held in Islamabad on March 12, 2005."
Degree is mounted on green velvet board. The top of the certificate includes the International Islamic University Islamabad logo in tan. Certificate is written in both English (left side) and Arabic (right side). The English version, in black text, reads:
